Responsibilities

Develop innovative mechanical designs for complex engineering problems while adhering to ambitious timelines

Develop solutions to improve assembly throughput while maintaining high quality work

Interface with cross functional teams in manufacturing and facilities to ensure on time delivery of final assemblies

Design assembly tooling and lifting fixtures for a high volume manufacturing line

Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies

Develop and maintain documentation for assembly, lifting, and inspection procedures to maintain a high level of quality relative to critical-to-function features and system characteristics

Perform impact assessments on variances in final assemblies and delivered parts
