Machine Service Technician - Weekend Day Shift

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule preventative maintenance activities on the Additive Metal Printers throughout the facility
Prioritize maintenance activities to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum
Maintain 3d printing systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and fiber laser systems
Work collaboratively with Operations, Machine Build and Engineering to resolve issues in a timely manner
Identify and communicate updates to TPMs that may be required through hands on observation
Provide status updates to management on assigned projects
Assist with installation of equipment and machines in production
Reading mechanical blueprints to perform maintenance duties
Adhere to and support Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures

Required

Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience, preferably in an industrial machine service technician role or machine-building department, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Experience with electro-mechanical and pneumatics assemblies
Familiarity working with complex systems and a strong ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise

Preferred

4+ years of experience building automated equipment
Ability to read/understand mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings and schematics
High precision, close tolerance proficiency
Ability to use all hand tools
Experience with the electronics assembly techniques: wiring, crimping, soldering, ESD protection
Aware of design tools and techniques
Proficient in standard and metric systems
