Responsibilities

Review all consumer requests for credit following regulations, policies, and procedures. Oversee and guide staff on accurately reviewing credit requests. Involvement with multiple projects to ensure continued process improvement in consumer lending

Manage current loan portfolio to ensure bank’s risk exposure remains low

Train retail staff on consumer loan product features, functionality and benefits. Proper handling of applications and closings. Work with other areas of the bank to ensure high level of customer service

Various tasks as deemed necessary for the department to work effectively and efficiently
