Assistant to the Director of Programming

Education
Responsibilities
Track and document student enrollment in and completion of courses and placements required for licensure
Support documentation to track progress towards Annual Goals and Formal Review Goals
Assist Faculty in the development and use of data collection tools
Support Faculty in yearly reporting, Formal Review documentation, and Formal review self-study
Forge pro-active positive relationships with college wide colleagues, applicants, and schools in frequently utilized systems
Assist in the scheduling, coordination, staffing and payroll submission of Artistic Reviews (auditions, interviews, etc.) for High School applicants to the Department of Performing Arts
In coordination with the Director of Programming, oversee 10-15 virtual and in person Artistic Review events on weekends and evenings throughout the academic year
Provide administrative support in the recruitment of High School applicants to the Department of Performing Arts
Assist the Director of Programming and Faculty with course planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in the arts, preferably in theatre, or equivalent 2-3 years of professional arts experience
An understanding of the Theatre
Demonstrated intercultural competence and a commitment to working with diverse populations
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with various partners
Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve problems
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and successfully prioritize tasks
Strong knowledge of standard office computing software (Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications)
