Responsibilities
Developing, running, and troubleshooting antibody characterization experiments using advanced label-free analytical techniques (e.g. BLI and SPR) in a variety of formats to evaluate binding kinetics, ligand blocking, and binning
Performing titer testing, screening, and antibody validation by ELISA and high throughput multicolor flow cytometry
Running and troubleshooting cell-based functional assays
Sample handling, sample inventory tracking and assisting with automation integration into the department
Concurrently execute multiple antibody discovery projects requiring wet lab activities, data analysis, report generation and preparation of deliverables
Record and communicate experimental details, draft reports, and deliver data with a high level of integrity and ethics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline with a minimum of 4-5 years of related experience or 3 years experience with MS
Strong understanding of antibody discovery, preferably focusing on assay development and protein characterization
Previous experience with SPR is required
Ability to effectively troubleshoot and optimize processes in order to meet a wide range of project needs
Ability to work independently, but also collaborate and effectively communicate within and across departmental teams
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail oriented and able to operate in a fast-paced and growing environment
Preferred
Experience with Carterra instrument preferred
Previous experience with BLI is strongly preferred
Experience with cell culture preferred
Direct experience with ELISA and multicolor flow cytometry is advantageous
