Responsibilities

Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and integration test articles

Building BOMs, creating parts, assemblies, and design documentation within Windchill PLM

Coordinating with the IPT team, suppliers, GSC, electronic packaging, optics, and structural/thermal/material analysts to ensure design excellence

Managing drawing releases, answering CRs, generating CN's, and presenting/supporting change boards and design reviews

Performing design trade studies to evaluate cost, weight, performance, and structural/thermal benefits

Qualification

Required

Strong background in hardware design

Experience with Windchill PLM

Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred

Familiarity with prototyping and hardware manufacturing

Familiarity with rapid design

Familiarity with outside vendors for hardware fabrication build

Familiarity with optics, sensor, and/or directed energy

Familiarity with integrated optical systems
