Responsibilities
Creates and maintains controls engineering and design documentation, including sensor/actuator layouts, controls component order lists, electrical drawings, motor lists, etc
Cross-references controls components, creates TGW part numbers, and orders necessary controls components in designated software tools (e.g. Navision)
Assists with troubleshooting efforts to investigate and resolve design issues onsite and offsite
Provides technical support to Project Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Installation, Controls Commissioning, and other internal teams involved in installation and commissioning of TGW equipment
Serves as subject matter expert, mentoring and guiding other Electrical Engineering team members
Specifies, clarifies, and documents the controls interfaces for third-party equipment, and communication points with software (Controls PLC and MFS) while supporting the controls processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Controls-related field (Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering) or equivalent work experience
Five (5) or more years of Controls or Electrical Engineering experience in industrial or material-handling environment
Up to 20% travel, as required
Thorough understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, with the ability to read e-drawings and AutoCAD drawings
Robust knowledge of industrial automation and control systems
