Responsibilities

Guide and develop a team of adjusters

Possess excellent writing skills

Understand and comply with company claim handling procedures as well as applicable department of insurance regulations

Ensure that direct reports comply with claim handling procedures

Effectively handle escalated problem files

Oversee the triage of all water damage claims to determine which claims need an immediate response

Review adjuster and vendor estimates and make corrections where appropriate

Required

Candidate must have excellent leadership and supervisorial skills with the ability to guide and develop a team of adjusters

The candidate must possess excellent writing skills

Must understand and comply with company claim handling procedures as well as applicable department of insurance regulations; and must ensure that direct reports do the same

Will be responsible for effectively handling escalated problem files

The candidate should be able to oversee the triage of all water damage claims to determine which claims need an immediate response to mitigate the company's exposure

Candidate should be able to review adjuster and vendor estimates and make corrections where appropriate

Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience adjusting property insurance claims

Experience with automated claim systems

A minimum of 3 years of supervisorial experience

They will be required to work in the San Antonio office
