Responsibilities
Support day-to-day polymer plant operations — troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and recommending practical solutions
Work directly with operators and process equipment, learning how the plant runs and helping drive stable, reliable performance
Analyze operating and historical data to improve yield, quality, and cost, and assist in implementing plant trials to validate improvements
Provide technical support to the operations team, strengthening operating discipline as your own expertise grows
Partner across functions — maintenance, EH&S, logistics, and technology — to keep operations safe, efficient, and aligned
Participate in on-call coverage during critical manufacturing periods to support safe and reliable operations
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (required)
Internship, co-op, or limited full-time experience in process engineering, plant operations, or manufacturing — new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and recommend next steps
Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn through hands-on work
A collaborative, steady approach — able to communicate clearly and work closely with operations and other teams
