Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for Harmony alumni
Maintain regular communication with alumni via email, text, and phone, offering ongoing encouragement and support
Lead in-person and virtual alumni meetings to provide a safe and supportive space for connection and sharing
Assist alumni seeking readmission to treatment, ensuring they receive compassionate guidance and care
Connect alumni to local long-term recovery and community support networks
Promote ongoing recovery and help strengthen post-treatment community connections
Plan, organize, and host alumni events, volunteer opportunities, and service projects
Support recognition activities such as Second Saturday and help facilitate Next Step Group
Participate in fundraising events and collaborate with business development teams on tours, and community events
Represent Harmony at conferences and industry gatherings
Attend TPAS (Treatment Provider Alumni Services) events for professional development and networking
Maintain and update the alumni contact database and volunteer records
Track alumni participation, referrals, and engagement data
Contribute alumni stories and updates for newsletters and marketing initiatives
Support the Harmony HUB community - encouraging engagement, suggesting content, and monitoring posts
Facilitate collection of Google reviews and video testimonials to highlight recovery success stories
Participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss upcoming discharges and ensure smooth client transitions to alumni status
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and Harmony policies
Qualification
Required
Ability to relate with detachment, understanding, and empathy to clients, alumni, and families
Demonstrated ability to set and maintain appropriate professional boundaries
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop professional, supportive relationships
Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information or sensitive situations
Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed
Exceptional attention to detail with reliable follow-through and completion of tasks
Ability to make independent decisions aligned with Harmony's mission and values
Comprehensive knowledge of Harmony's services and the ability to communicate them effectively to alumni and other audiences
Genuine commitment to Harmony's mission and vision, actively contributing to the success of organizational goals
