PHAXIS is a growing NY based Fintech Trading and Clearing firm seeking an aspiring risk compliance professional to join their team. The Risk team is responsible for monitoring, managing and reporting the risk of its correspondents and clients, focusing on market compliance issues.

Responsibilities

Monitoring the exposure of correspondent clearing broker/dealers
Act as second order of risk monitoring for the correspondents
Assist in monitoring the risk of direct active day trading clients' positions needed

Equity risk knowledgeEquity options risk knowledgeMargin rates understandingTrading risk platformsExcel skillsStress managementQuick thinking

Required

1 years plus relevant experience
Bachelor's in finance /business or quantitative discipline like econometrics, math/engineering etc
Understanding of margin rates and requirements for equity and equity options
Exposure to trading and risk platforms used by clients and an understanding of pretrade risk systems
Excel skills are useful
Must be quick thinking, ability to work in often a stressful environment

Preferred

Knowledge of equity and equity options risk is preferred
