Responsibilities
Keep production at a steady pace
Ensure a quality product
Act as an expert resource for technicians and assistants
Perform technical duties necessary for decontamination, assembly, sterilization and distribution of all reusable supplies to all areas serviced according to hospital established protocol
Oversee front line staff
Work with the manager to provide appropriate staffing to ensure a quality product
Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers
Qualification
Required
One year sterile processing/central sterile or surgical technician
One of: CIS or CRCST or CSPDT Must obtain Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS), Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), or Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician (CSPDT) credential within 12 months of hire
Preferred
One year leadership in a healthcare setting
High School Diploma or GED
Certified Instrument Specialist OR Certified Registered Central Service Technician OR Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician
