Responsibilities
Process invoices, cash disbursements and perform daily bank reconciliations
Own parts of the close process and prepare journal entries and maintain monthly account reconciliations
Reduce manual work by leveraging technology (systems, integrations, AI) across all areas of accounting
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate expense recognition, resolve discrepancies, support the close process, and streamline accounting workflows
Assist with annual audits and tax filings. Work closely with the Controller to ensure compliance across all entities
Dive into ad hoc projects across all areas of accounting and finance as required as part of a growing startup team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting
1-2+ years of experience in an accounting role (including internships, if applicable)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing deadlines and changing priorities
Comfortable wearing multiple hats to support the team's priorities and goals
Robust analytical skills, effective problem solving and attention to detail
Strong communication skills for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
Resourcefulness and the ability to challenge the status quo and separate good from perfect
