Responsibilities

Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Independently manage existing accounts while actively prospecting and developing new business within the assigned territory
Demonstrates excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills; both verbal and written
Proficient in computer systems for processing and reviewing orders, customer requests, and system-generated acknowledgements
Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned

Required

Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience, preferably in the construction or building materials industry
Driver's License Requirement: Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a vehicle on behalf of the company
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Independently manage existing accounts while actively prospecting and developing new business within the assigned territory
Demonstrates excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills; both verbal and written
Proficient in computer systems for processing and reviewing orders, customer requests, and system-generated acknowledgements
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
Flexibility to cover a territory within assigned territory with up to 75% overnight travel
Work is performed in various environments including construction installation sites and warehouses, and may involve activities such as climbing, stooping, balancing, kneeling, crawling, bending, lifting, driving, and prolonged periods of sitting or standing
Must be able to safely use ladders as needed
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Preferred

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with general contractor operations and the construction industry is strongly preferred
Building Science Understanding: Knowledge of building envelopes and commercial insulation is a plus
Education: Bachelor's degree or some college preferred
