Shipyard Assistant Project Manager
Flagship Management is seeking a Shipyard Assistant Project Manager to assist the Shipyard Project Manager and collaborate with production departments. The role involves maintaining project schedules, budgets, managing change orders, and ensuring quality control compliance while supporting organizational goals.

Maintain and track project schedules, budgets, and expenditures
Manage change orders and ensure quality control compliance
Oversee daily project development and workflow
Support organizational goals in coordination with senior leadership
Prepare and distribute detailed progress and status reports
Set and communicate project expectations with production personnel
Identify and resolve project issues or conflicts promptly
Analyze status reports from project teams and provide corrective solutions
Qualification
Required
Assist the Shipyard Project Manager and work collaboratively with production departments to ensure all project objectives, schedules, and budgets are met
Maintain and track project schedules, budgets, and expenditures
Manage change orders and ensure quality control compliance
Oversee daily project development and workflow
Support organizational goals in coordination with senior leadership
Prepare and distribute detailed progress and status reports
Set and communicate project expectations with production personnel
Identify and resolve project issues or conflicts promptly
Analyze status reports from project teams and provide corrective solutions
Preferred
Supervisory experience with strong project management skills
Availability to work nights and weekends when necessary
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project
Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks (criminal, motor vehicle, employment)
Ability to use required PPE (respirators, hard hats, safety footwear)
Comfort working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
3–5 years of ship repair experience preferred, or equivalent education/experience
Bilingual Spanish skills a plus
