The role involves delivering intensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Deliver intensive nursing care to pediatric patients with complex medical conditions
Monitor vital signs and manage ventilators, IV medications, and other critical therapies
Collaborate with pediatric intensivists and multidisciplinary teams
Provide emotional support and education to families
Document care accurately and efficiently

Required

PALS certification
Experienced nurses able to manage ventilators and drips without additional training
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
