The Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinician will deliver exceptional patient care, monitor children's growth and development, educate families, maintain documentation, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities

Delivering exceptional care by diagnosing, treating, and creating personalized care plans tailored to each child's needs, while being responsive to acute concerns
Monitoring children's physical and emotional milestones, offering early intervention and educating families on preventive care for healthy growth and development
Supporting families throughout the full spectrum of the pediatric lifecycle, providing guidance and compassionate care from infancy through adolescence, fostering healthy development, and empowering families with the knowledge they need at each stage
Maintaining accurate and up to date patient records, adhering to best practice in documentation and healthcare regulations
Work alongside Pediatricians, support team members and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care

Required

Master's degree in nursing or a related field, as well as a certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Current and unrestricted license to practice in Illinois
Current and unrestricted Illinois DEA license
Comfortable working in a collaborative, non-hierarchical, team-based environment
Empathy towards patients, families and caregivers
At least 2 years of experience working in a pediatric setting
BLS/ACLS Certification
