Responsibilities

Supports the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting across the organization
Collaborates with operational and finance leaders to gather and validate key assumptions
Analyzes historical performance and market trends to strengthen financial projections
Delivers accurate, timely forecasts that guide strategic decision-making
Conducts variance analysis to explain deviations from budget and forecast results
Prepares monthly management reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Analyzes financial trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making
Partners with operations, finance, and accounting teams to enhance reporting accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
Collaborates with department leaders to effectively manage SG&A and overhead expenses
Monitors and reports departmental spending versus budget, highlighting variances and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Educates functional leaders on key financial drivers and the impact of business decisions on performance
Identifies, recommends, and implements process improvements to increase FP&A efficiency and reporting quality
Drives automation initiatives leveraging BI tools and ERP systems to streamline financial workflows
Develops and refines performance metrics that drive accountability and operational visibility
Serves as a strategic advisor by providing data-driven insights and financial guidance to business stakeholders
Strengthens cross-departmental communication to ensure alignment of financial objectives with operational priorities
Supports company-wide initiatives aimed at improving financial literacy and strategic understanding across teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 8 years' of experience in financial planning and analysis
Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statement analysis
Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence (BI) tools
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization
Upholds the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
Occasional travel to regional offices or project sites
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business-related periodicals, journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
Ability to prepare and write routine correspondence
Ability to calculate mathematical figures such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to analyze cost data and make financial projections based on the information available
Ability to prepare accounting and financial analyses may include, among other things, detailed cost projections, forecasts, financial models based on various scenarios, etc
Ability to present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and co-workers
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to effectively use time-management skills to prioritize workflow to meet deadlines
Ability to identify, perform assessment of and develop mitigation strategies to address financial risks on the Company's significant projects
Ability to work independently and / or collaboratively work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
