Responsibilities

Support the launch of Fortuna’s new HAB property program through London by assisting with marketing efforts and contributing to tracking metrics such as hit ratios and loss ratios

Help maintain and grow the existing book of business by managing renewals, ensuring agents receive competitive options, and overseeing both new and renewal business

Prepare to backfill an associate broker role by building foundational knowledge in underwriting, client servicing, and program management

Assist with operational and financial tasks to support overall business functions

Apply knowledge from commercial real estate coursework and exposure to a property-focused office to strengthen decision-making and industry understanding

Required

Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in a program related to one of our host departments (Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management and Insurance)

Interest in insurance-related roles; involvement in insurance clubs or Gamma Iota Sigma

Students anticipated to graduate in Spring 2026, December 2026, or Spring 2027

Previous work or internship experience in a professional services or similar environment

An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to problem-solve, think critically, and provide creative solutions
