Responsibilities

Design next-generation (6G and beyond) systems based on 3GPP, AI-RAN, and O-RAN architectures

Apply machine learning techniques to optimize cellular network performance

Develop service-aware and network-application co-optimization solutions for beyond-connectivity use cases

Implement innovative algorithms and prototypes in real-world systems such as OpenAirInterface

Perform hands-on testing, validation, and performance benchmarking in lab environments

Document findings through publications at top-tier venues and contributions to patents

Required

Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited school in the United States

Deep expertise in 3GPP architectures, protocol layers, and interfaces, with hands-on systems implementation experience

Strong background in applying AI/ML techniques to network optimization, control, or management

Established publication record demonstrating impactful research contributions

Preferred

Proven research experience with measurable results and contributions to advanced wireless systems

Ability to anticipate emerging research trends and identify high-impact directions for future work
