Responsibilities
Conduct thorough research on chip architectures for efficient AI serving
Prepare detailed documentation of simulations, methodologies, and findings
Present results and insights to team members and stakeholders
Collaborate with other Research Interns and researchers
Contribute to the vibrant life of the community
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Master or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Research Interns are expected to be physically located in their manager's Microsoft worksite location for the duration of their internship
You'll need to submit a minimum of two reference letters for this position as well as a cover letter and any relevant work or research samples
Preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and vibrant research environment
Willingness to embrace knowledge outside your field of research interest
Experience in conducting research in the fields of Computer Architecture and HW design
Experience in conducting experiments and writing papers
Programming skills in C/C++ and Python
Knowledge of Machine Learning/AI/Large Language Model concepts
Relevant publications such as ISCA, MICRO, ASPLOS, HPCA, CVPR, ACL, ICML, NeurIPS, etc
