Responsibilities

YOU will design and develop cutting-edge embedded software, networking and communication products

YOU will lead efforts in complex, multi-threaded embedded software in C++ and Rust

YOU will leverage containerization to streamline software development

YOU will drive project success by directly contributing to requirements, implementation, test development, and certification

YOU will lead initiatives and small teams

YOU will guide your team, supporting cost, schedule and technical performance

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Experience in the full software development lifecycle

3 years of experience with embedded software development

3 years of experience in C++ or C

Preferred

Experience with Rust is a plus

Experience with Linux development environments

Experience with Git or other version control systems

Experience with multithreading

Experience with networking and communications protocols

Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
