This role involves overseeing operations, ensuring compliance with Nevada court reporting standards, and leading quality assurance efforts to maintain high reporting standards.

Responsibilities
Capture depositions, hearings, and legal proceedings in a certified stenographic capacity, producing accurate, verbatim transcripts
Use CAT software and digital audio tools to scope, proofread, and finalize transcripts that meet Nevada court reporting standards
Assist the company with court-reporter firm registration
Lead quality assurance by auditing transcripts, schedules, and workflows for accuracy, consistency, and compliance; provide feedback, training, and onboarding support to strengthen team performance
Drive strategic planning by developing staffing models, overseeing recruitment, and aligning resources to ensure coverage of all proceedings
Partner with leadership to design and implement long-term process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and overall reporting quality
Qualification
Required
Current Nevada Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) license (required)
In-depth knowledge of Nevada procedural rules, legal terminology, and transcript formatting standards
Significant experience in court reporting, with proven supervisory or leadership experience
Proficiency with CAT software (e.g., Case CATalyst, Eclipse) and digital audio review tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote or hybrid environment
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
A collaborative mindset with a commitment to upholding the highest professional standards
Comfort with a mix of live proceedings, remote work, and operational oversight
