Responsibilities

Build Skids:Builds skids and pallets according to Majestic Steel and/or customer specifications, operate lift trucks to transport, store, and stage materials within the service center

Maintain Safety:Perform daily lift truck inspections, move up and down from lift truck, and report any equipment issues

Support Team Efforts:Work collaboratively with team to meet goals, contribute to housekeeping procedures, and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Qualification

Hand tools experienceLift truck operationFollow processesAttention to detailEffective communication

Required

Experience with hand tools, including up-cut saw & circular saw

Strong attention to detail

Ability to follow processes & procedures

Effective communication skills

Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds

Mount & dismount equipment

Capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time

Comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions

Preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent

One (1) year of lift truck operation experience

Lift truck experience handling heavy loads (10,000 pounds or more)
