They are seeking an outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to provide services at the Baylor Medicine McNair clinic, focusing on quality care and patient-centered practices in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

Positions are clinical with direct patient care for 9 sessions a week
Provide medical care to adults in the outpatient care setting. Supervise residents, medical students, and other learners as needed
Coordinate with inpatient care teams for safe discharge of patients
Participate in any team meetings
Contribute to quality improvement and/or research projects
Keep up with continuing medical education as per college and specialty requirements
Renewing and meeting all required licenses and certification requirements
Familiarize with the Epic electronic medical records and document all patient encounters as needed
Complete all documentation in a timely manner so that billing and other administrative tasks can happen smoothly to ensure a robust operational system

Required

Education Requirement: MD, DO; Board Certified or board eligible
Licensure Requirement: Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
