Responsibilities

Review product labels (e.g., primary/secondary packaging, IFCs, displays, coupons) for accuracy, grammar, spelling, consistency, and alignment with previously approved versions
Collaborate with Marketing, Packaging, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure labeling materials are complete and properly formatted before final review
Proofread documents and materials used for regulatory submissions or registrations as requested
Provide system support and guidance to new or current users after becoming proficient
Utilize internal style guides to maintain consistent labeling standards; assist in updating guides when directed. Process label review tasks within the in-house labeling system and route materials according to defined workflows
Keep track of & Expedite priority projects
Track tasks and help expedite priority projects as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent in relevant experience
Basic knowledge of labeling content and format for OTC drug, medical device, cosmetic and dietary supplement products
Fact-checking and research expertise
Strong written skills
Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Excellent grammar and communication skills
Proficiency in basic computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat)
Experience and ability to undertake the main responsibilities of the position
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general information and technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write succinct and clear correspondence and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal stakeholders
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Preferred

2+ years of experience in proofreading
