Responsibilities

Check all incoming goods against delivery orders, invoices, food specifications, and purchase records to ensure correct type, amount, price, and quality

Update daily receiving in the Purchasing/Inventory system and generate timely Daily Receiving Reports for food, beverage, and non-food items

Ensure all goods are delivered to the correct storage areas and maintain high standards of business integrity with vendors and delivery personnel

Inspect the physical condition, quality, and quantity of all items at receipt, including checking food quality, shelf life, and temperature compliance

Coordinate with vendors, staff, and other departments to manage deliveries, returns, and discrepancies seamlessly

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories of food, beverage, operating equipment, and supplies

Maintain secure, clean, and organized loading dock and receiving areas

Update electronic purchase orders and post invoices in Inventory and Accounts Payable systems

Support the Director of Purchasing in any additional duties, including assisting Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies and participating in operating equipment inventories
