Responsibilities

Assist in providing clinical mental health services to clients of all ages

Perform direct patient care including diagnosing psychiatric illness and recommending psychotropic medication when appropriate and in accordance with standardized procedures

Provide general counseling, guidance and health instruction to clients and family members

Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner that is consistent with agency standards

Play a role in the client’s treatment team with other departments throughout the agency

Participate in additional learning and training opportunities
