Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic procurement plans aligned with long-term business objectives
Manage procurement budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds and achievement of financial targets
Monitor and analyze procurement KPIs to drive continuous improvement and performance optimization
Lead cost-saving initiatives and implement best practices to enhance procurement efficiency
Ensure procurement activities support sustainability and social responsibility goals
Establish and enforce procurement policies and procedures that meet compliance and industry standards
Identify and mitigate procurement risks to ensure business continuity and resilience
Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate procurement strategies with overall business operations
Adhere to all applicable work rules (e.g., GMP, PNT, INS, BPL) and follow defined procedures
Complete required compliance documentation and records accurately
Comply with established quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards
Report any incidents or irregularities to the direct manager promptly
Perform tasks from lower professional groups when necessary to support team operations

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
Minimum of 6-8 years of procurement or supply chain experience, with a strong track record in strategic sourcing and purchasing
Proven leadership experience, including managing staff
Demonstrated ability to drive performance and influence across complex, global matrix organizations
Strong understanding of compliance, ethical standards, and reputation management within a regulated industry
Knowledge and application of work standards (GMP, PNT, INS, BPL, etc.) according to defined procedures
Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills
Excellent leadership and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in procurement management systems and tools

Preferred

Master's degree preferred
Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry is highly preferred
Multilingual capabilities are a plus
