Responsibilities
Prepare and review quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provisions, including current and deferred tax calculations
Lead and support federal and state C-Corp tax compliance (stand-alone and consolidated returns – 1120/1120-C)
Develop and review detailed tax provision and return workpapers
Support tax planning initiatives and participate in special projects across multiple clients
Collaborate directly with client tax leadership and internal engagement teams
Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
Conduct technical tax research and draft clear, concise memoranda
Qualification
Required
5+ years of corporate tax experience (public accounting or consulting strongly preferred)
Deep knowledge of ASC 740, corporate tax rules, and general accounting principles
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment
Proficiency with Excel; experience with GoSystems, OneSource, or CorpTax is beneficial
Preferred
CPA preferred; MST a plus
