Responsibilities

Create and execute a content strategy that generates qualified pipeline through technical blogs, video content, podcasts, and thought leadership—working directly with our security experts and engineering team to translate complex AI and security concepts into compelling narratives that resonate with technical buyers
Define and evolve our product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for our agentic vulnerability management platform, ensuring every product launch and feature release drives measurable customer adoption and revenue impact
Develop comprehensive sales enablement materials including battle cards, competitive positioning, demo scripts, and customer success stories that accelerate deal velocity and improve win rates across our sales organization
Own our website strategy and content, ensuring our digital presence effectively communicates our unique value proposition and drives conversion through compelling technical storytelling and clear product positioning
Collaborate closely with our internal security engineering team and external security practitioners to create authentic, technically credible content that establishes Maze as a thought leader in AI-powered vulnerability management
Leverage AI-assisted workflows to accelerate content creation, optimize messaging effectiveness, and pioneer new approaches to technical content that give us competitive advantages in reaching security buyers
Work in close partnership with sales leadership, product teams, and engineering to ensure marketing efforts directly support revenue goals, product adoption, and customer success outcomes

Required

Deep understanding of cloud security, vulnerability management, CVEs, and security workflows—you must be able to discuss technical security concepts fluently with both customers and internal engineering teams. This is non-negotiable and cannot be learned on the job
5-8 years in B2B SaaS marketing with proven experience in both content creation and product marketing—you can come from either background but must have hands-on experience executing both functions successfully
Track record at high-growth companies with progressive marketing leadership, where you've built novel content campaigns and contributed directly to pipeline and revenue growth through creative marketing approaches
Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts including cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cybersecurity technologies—comfortable collaborating with engineering teams and translating technical capabilities into business value
Portfolio of meaningful content campaigns you've created and can discuss proudly—we want to see examples of innovative approaches that drove measurable business impact, not just content you managed
Experience tying marketing activities directly to pipeline generation and revenue outcomes, with ability to set and measure success metrics that matter to the business, not just activity-based KPIs
Comfort creating content strategies and product marketing programs from scratch, with proven ability to establish processes, workflows, and standards that scale as the company grows
Natural ability to work effectively with security experts, sales teams, product managers, and executives—you give creative freedom to subject matter experts while maintaining clear strategic direction

Preferred

Experience at vulnerability management, risk platforms, or technical detection tool companies (EDR, NDR, SIEM)
Background in backend or infrastructure engineering with transition to product marketing
Track record creating video content, podcasts, or multimedia campaigns
Experience with AI/ML product marketing or agent-based systems
Previous startup experience scaling marketing from Series A through hypergrowth
