Responsibilities

Represent clients and manage a docket of cases in general commercial litigation, real estate disputes, and personal injury
Provide comprehensive legal counsel and defense strategies to commercial clients
Conduct thorough investigations into accidents, analyze evidence, asses liability, and develop defense strategies tailored to each case's unique circumstances
Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings
Conduct legal research and provide legal analysis on various issues
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Participate in case strategy discussions and negotiations
Manage case files and maintain accurate and organized records

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the State Bar of Texas
Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate litigation/tort based litigation
Comfortable managing a docket on your own and handling cases from beginning to end
Strong research and writing skills
Excellent oral communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Willingness to travel when necessary
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Participate in case strategy discussions and negotiations
Manage case files and maintain accurate and organized records
