Analyst, Project Control
KPI Solutions is seeking an Analyst, Project Control responsible for managing financial and operational aspects of projects. The role involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards while collaborating with project managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Oversee the financial planning and management of specific projects, including creating budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
Prepare and analyze monthly project financial statements and reports, providing insights on project performance and profitability
Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial information, assisting in decision-making processes
Prepare project cash flow analysis and manage project billing. Monitor vendor payments and subcontractor billings as necessary
Monitor project costs, investigate variances, and implement cost containment measures to ensure projects remain within budget
Assist in the annual external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and compliant with standards
Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement
Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets
Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk
Support the budgeting and forecasting process with accurate financial data
Provide management with timely variance analysis and actionable insights
Liaise with external auditors during the annual financial statement
Maintain compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Collaborative mindset with a focus on cross-functional teamwork
Preferred
CPA or MBA preferred
Oracle NetSuite experience preferred
Experience with construction/engineering/project management accounting (Percentage of Completion) preferred
