Responsibilities

Analyze mBOM flow into and out of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Optimize mBOM structure to align with build workflows

Track and communicate engineering configuration changes to the manufacturing engineering team

Develop and maintain automated queries and dashboards to report on mBOM and design change metrics

Assess and improve BOM configuration, metrics, and repeatability from past and current builds

Create models and processes to standardize configuration and inform product development and build strategies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production configuration, or configuration data management, with proficiency in Windchill PLM and data analytics

2+ years of hands-on experience defining mBOM architecture and managing configuration changes

Proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, especially Windchill

Experience working with SQL, Databricks, Tableau, or similar analytics tools

Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve problems in manufacturing or production environments

Strong background in data analytics, computer science, or computer engineering
