Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
Conduct tax research and assist with strategic tax planning for clients
Work directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and build strong relationships
Help guide and mentor staff accountants; support training and development initiatives
Identify process improvements and assist in shaping workflows for the growing Sarasota office
Support Tax Manager and firm leadership with special projects and advisory work as needed
Qualification
Required
3-6+ years of tax preparation and review experience in public accounting
Strong understanding of individual, corporate, and partnership taxation
Excellent communication skills; comfortable interacting directly with clients
Preferred
CPA or EA preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure will also be considered
