Responsibilities
Serve as project leader for Climate Risk Assessment and Due Diligence projects
Maintain effective relationships with Aon teams and clients
Identify and build relationships with Aon account executives and producers, securing proposal opportunities for risk consulting
Ensure that the Aon work product is of high quality, adheres to all relevant AGRC standards of practice and is provided in a timely manner
Prepare and present proposals in response to RFP’s
Handle multiple work assignments, flexibly balancing priorities, to meet or exceed the expectations of our clients
Present various reports to clients, lead the discussion toward proper fulfillment of client’s needs
Anticipate client questions and prepare appropriate responses
Assist in the overall team effort for knowledge and best practices to be disseminated throughout the practice
Develop a specific area of knowledge and become a recognized subject matter expert
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7 years relevant work experience in risk consulting
Knowledge of physical climate risk modeling (catastrophe and/or climate models)
Expertise in data preparation and processing, mapping and visualization (Tableau, PowerBI, ArcMap, QGIS, etc.), and translating outputs into meaningful insights
Working knowledge with data manipulation in industry standard statistical platforms, such as R or Python
Excellent knowledge of risk consulting methodologies and principles
Ability to write complex reports and business correspondence
Exceptional interpersonal skills and team-oriented approach
Commitment to client service and business ethics
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, risk management, or equivalent
