Responsibilities
Overall management of design, implementation, and maintenance of the operational technology (OT) network infrastructure
Selecting and configuring network hardware and software, such as switches, routers, firewalls, and industrial protocols
Responsible for network security and providing monitoring and troubleshooting of performance issues and for resolving network-related problems to minimize downtime
Designs, installs and maintains networking and infrastructure in support of control systems in accordance with company standards and works with OT Network Management to provide solutions for maintenance and operations
Create and maintain detailed network diagrams of the manufacturing industrial infrastructure, network, server, cabling, rack level, and logical architecture including procedures and plans to support current and future projects
Procure equipment per project requirements
Travel to project sites to provide support of ICS networks, manage and maintain converged platforms, virtualization, networks, security platforms and various other OT/IoT technologies
Review of network architectures and determining if best practices are being followed and provided recommendations to comply with applicable cybersecurity framework for industrial environment controls
Qualification
Required
5+ years of networking technology knowledge (TCP/IP, routing & switching)
5+ years of engineering-related support of OT environments, industrial control systems (DCS/PLC), or SCADA
Experience working with firewalls, routers, switches and wireless communication technology
Experience working with servers, virtualization platforms, Active Directory, DNS, and Domain Controllers
Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE-4, JNCIA or equivalent network certification
Familiarity with IEC-62443, NIST 800-53 and 800-82 or other industrial cybersecurity standards is a plus
Knowledge of the Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture
