The role involves managing a team to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products while maintaining inventory control and providing excellent service to customers.

Responsibilities
Manage a team of replenishers to ensure product is located correctly and product is readily available for fulfillment
Oversee shipping, receiving, returns, transfers and loading of warehoused products
Oversee inventory control
Liaise with customers and transport companies
Plan work rotations, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
Ensure proper security measures are enforced regarding the opening and closing of warehouse
Hire, orient and discipline all warehouse employees, including drivers
Maintain standards of health and safety according to OSHA guidelines, complete and file necessary paperwork
Plan random drug testing, safety and training presentations
Conduct annual and periodic employee reviews
Oversee the planned maintenance of warehouse equipment
Ensure efficient layout and space utilization in all areas of warehouse
Assist in routing both beer and wine orders
Learn, use and train warehouse employees on all approved warehouse systems and software as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Work with minimal supervision, ability to set priorities, and multitask
High School diploma/GED required
Experience in warehouse management procedures, including Layered Inventory
Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to manage staff
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Computer skills, Microsoft office preferred
Very outgoing along with strong self-direction
