Responsibilities

Under the direction of lead engineer, assist with the preparation of construction plans, estimates, and other deliverables for airport projects

Prepare project designs and deliverables in compliance to documented commitments, standards, and for quality assurance

Work with design team to complete assignments

Work with design team to track project scopes, schedules, budgets

Follow all in-house procedures related to documentation of designs, process flow, filing, etc

Assist with bid coordination and construction administration

Communicate with design team and eventually clients and review agencies

Attend and document project/client meetings with agendas and/or notes/minutes

Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's Degree

Entry level aviation engineer

Focus on supporting planning, design, and construction projects related to airport infrastructure

Perform engineering work requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria under close supervision

Carry out related civil engineering tasks such as preparation of plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates in accordance with established codes and standards
