Responsibilities

Oversee daily sales operations, optimize processes, and foster collaboration between sales and support teams to exceed customer expectations
Provide hands-on commercial support throughout sales and tender activities
Guide product forecasting and pipeline visibility to ensure accurate planning and demand alignment
Lead talent development initiatives to build capability, strengthen succession, and drive team performance
Identify, qualify, and develop new market opportunities; support Sales Reps with account planning and engagement strategies
Initiate and coordinate customer trials of existing and new Ground Support products
Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive activity to inform strategy and drive proactive business decisions
Analyze customer applications and incumbent product usage; recommend alternative solutions that enhance safety, productivity, and total lifecycle cost
Support commercial negotiations in collaboration with the Business Line Manager and Sales Reps
Build and maintain influential relationships with key mining industry stakeholders to drive brand preference and market presence
Coordinate relationships and processes with internal and external suppliers, promoting a unified culture guided by Sandvik Core Values
Strengthen collaboration across Sandvik divisions to drive cross-divisional initiatives and integrated product offerings
Develop and deliver compelling presentations on Sandvik Ground Support solutions at targeted industry events and conferences
Provide insight to R&D to ensure product development aligns with customer needs and delivers maximum business value
Champion a strong EHS culture by adhering to, modeling, and promoting Sandvik safety policies and best practices

Required

10+ years of experience in the mining industry within sales, commercial, or related functions
Proven success leading sales and/or operational teams
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

Technical understanding of ground stabilization products strongly preferred
