Channel Development Manager
ComTec Systems is a company focused on creating impactful partnerships in the technology sector. The Channel Development Manager will lead the development of reseller and referral partnerships, driving new sales opportunities and partner growth within a designated territory.

Responsibilities
Take primary responsibility for the execution of building new partnerships
Create and deliver qualified opportunities to the ComTec sales team
Coordinating trainings, events, campaigns on full product portfolio
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Establish connections between our sales team and the partner referral
Maintain regular contact with the sales teams to discuss progress and pipeline
Identify gaps or challenges, escalate to leadership
Be capable of translating our products into business value for our channel partners
Develop strategies with partners that align with their go to market to leverage their customer relationships, grow pipeline and accelerate sales cycles
Maintain a detailed understanding of assigned partners’ business (growth initiative, strategic focus, investment areas, profitability factors, etc.)
Maintain daily activities in business management platform, Salesforce, to track interactions
Provide weekly updates to manager on individual activity
Qualification
Required
The ability to network, develop and cultivate relationships, with a high level of consistency, for the purpose of generating new sales opportunities
Strong presence and product knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong listening and sales qualifying skills
Strong business acumen
Highly organized & detail oriented, especially in a fast-paced, empowered environment
General technology background & commitment to learning ComTec products in a detailed manner
Preferred
An understanding of Cloud Communications, UCaaS, Contact Center, and a background in developing channel partnerships…is a plus
A history of developing relationships with MSPs, Interconnects, Technology VARs for the purpose of cultivating new partnerships
