Northeastern University is seeking applications for a non-tenure track faculty position in the Accounting Group of the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at their Boston campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in accounting, engaging in research, and providing service to the university and the discipline.

Responsibilities

Teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels in accounting areas including financial, tax, audit or data analytics and/or related subjects

Participate in service to the Accounting Group, D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, and the discipline

Develop an appropriate independent research program necessary to achieve and maintain AACSB qualification as a Scholarly Academic

Teach courses covering topics in financial accounting, tax, auditing, or data analytics

Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified to teach courses related to financial accounting, tax and data analytics

Required

Candidates for Teaching Professor must have a doctorate in accounting or a closely related field by the appointment start date

Candidates for appointment at ranks above the entry-level must have at least 4 years of college teaching and/or professional experience

Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching and research, and fostering an environment of belonging for our student population

Preferred

Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified to teach courses related to financial accounting, tax and data analytics
