Responsibilities
Spearhead the design of high-voltage substations (15 kV to 500 kV) using design software
Champion the application of client standards and applicable design codes and specifications related to design requirements
Oversee and refine drawing development and CAD-based design tasks, applying advanced expertise and driving quality standards
Champion mentorship and professional development across the team, serving as a technical resource and role model
Oversee and refine QA/QC processes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with industry standards and client expectations
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, driving innovation and ensuring satisfaction through strategic engagement and collaboration
Strategize and oversee task execution to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget across disciplines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
10+ years of experience
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Mastery in working with AutoCAD, ACADE, or Inventor
Expert in the design of substation physical structures, wiring, and controls
Authoritative ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations
Strategic and detail-oriented, with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize complex systems and workflows
Trusted and respected, with deep expertise in fostering collaboration across disciplines and driving innovation within project teams
Forward-thinking communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences and drive cross-functional collaboration
Valid Driver's License is required
