Responsibilities

Maintain outdoor areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for visitor's
Assist Rangers with grounds keeping, trail maintenance, facility upkeep, and animal exhibit maintenance
Perform limited indoor custodial tasks as needed
Operate approved power equipment related to grounds and/or facility maintenance
Drive city vehicles and maintenance equipment as required
Serve as a public-facing representative of the sanctuary, often being the first point of contact for visitors
Provide excellent customer service and maintain position communication with visitor's and staff
Follows all policies, procedures, and the philosophy that is set forth by the City of Green Bay Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with visitors
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Valid Wisconsin driver's license and good driving record

Preferred

Experience with grounds maintenance and the use of power equipment preferred
Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, or a similar field is a plus
