Responsibilities

Develop and implement test processes, detailed instructions, and electrical test equipment used in the testing of complex electro-mechanical systems and associated lower-level modules
Work with production technicians to diagnose failures and facilitate rework
Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, and manufacturing processes
Develop training, debug, and retest guidelines as required
Develop Preventative Maintenance Plans for test solutions
Assist in the diagnosis of product and test stand related issues requiring the ability to troubleshoot product and test stands to module and component level
Provide day to day support to the manufacturing floor ensuring smooth operation of test processes and assisting test technicians as necessary
Document failure modes, troubleshooting instructions, and rework recommendations

Required

3-5 years hands-on experience in Complex Electrical Test supporting Subassembly and Electro-Mechanical Box build/integration and test in a manufacturing environment
Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience as a test technician or test engineer
A quality focus is required with solid knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and experience evaluating quality data and implementing sound corrective and preventive action
Must be comfortable preparing presentations and speaking and presenting to teammates of diverse backgrounds, management levels, and technical capabilities
Must be detail oriented and administratively strong since record keeping and documentation integrity are critical
Requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of personnel in a team based environment
Requires an individual interested in working and learning in a hands-on capacity in a dynamic manufacturing environment
Requires excellent capabilities in the use of Microsoft office tools and computer applications and software in a test environment
Must be secret clearance eligible

Preferred

Strong RF experience is preferred
Electrical Engineering degree or Progress toward a degree and suitable experience
Previous experience supporting electrical test activity at BAE or DOD contractor is preferred
Previous experience with software tools-Python, MATLAB, Linux preferred
Active Secret preferred
