Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate system integrator test strategies, plans, and artifacts and results to ensure high quality and high-performing financial solutions
Participate in system testing as requested
Coordinate the change control process
Collaborate with the Client on O&M best practices once the Integration has been completed and ‘refreshed,’ as well as other options that will result in increased Client value-add
Collaborate closely with our Client to identify system requirements not addressed in the initial implementation and assist in translating them into additional specifications for their SAP Federal Financials system
Regular collaboration with our Program and Project managers on system performance status, issues, solutions, and consultative activities is a given
Establish standards, practices, and procedures for integrating, testing, evaluating, and transitioning systems and enterprise capabilities, and coordinate with stakeholders
Evaluate enterprise capabilities, architectures, system design concepts, requirements, risks and opportunities, and processes for integration, test, evaluation, and transition impacts
Design, develop, and implement test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure reliability of systems in conjunction with system specifications and defined enterprise capabilities, and integrate system and enterprise elements together so they work as a whole
Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability
Ensure systems and enterprise capabilities comply with requirements and standards through formal verification methods
Generate system requirements and enterprise capability verification approaches and customer acceptance criteria
Participate in reviews of systems and elements under development to ensure traceability of requirements compliance through verification and validation
Develop and direct preparation for and execution of comprehensive test & evaluation plans, procedures, and schedules which verify and validate enterprise capabilities, system requirements, performance, and operability
Coordinate system integration, test, evaluation, and transition activities with other organizations
Conduct readiness for system integration, test, evaluation, and transition activities
Compile data and define changes required in testing configurations, testing procedures, testing processes, or new testing requirements
Implement testing processes and ensure all test activities follow those processes
Produce reports on each test activity and track test metrics
Perform analysis and evaluations of systems under test
Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures
Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive system evaluation reports and risk assessments
Evaluate discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes affecting systems and enterprise capabilities
Provide direct, interfacing support to the customer for system integration, test, evaluation, and transition activities
Monitor for continual process improvement and lessons learned, and report to management periodically
Qualification
Required
Senior consultant-level skills in testing SAP financial solutions with at least 6 years of direct SAP testing experience
Ability to plan, run, and manage workshops/meetings with clients
Possesses exceptional technical knowledge, skills, and capabilities, especially regarding testing
Practical experience in managing customers, SAP engagements, service deliveries, and/or project management
Ability to work under pressure, in critical situations, and under tight deadlines
Ability to drill down into technical issues and solve complex and detailed problems
Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and present complex information in a professional and precise manner; detail-oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; superior troubleshooter
Can effectively analyze organizational needs, pinpoint primary objectives or challenges
Must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to multitask effectively
Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and sound SAP functional knowledge
Ability to provide knowledgeable input on resource requirements
Excellent organizational, time management, and Client service skills
Ability to provide relevant and concise data quickly to decision-makers, to facilitate timely decisions and actions
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, computer information science, information technology, or a related field
U.S. citizen able to pass a government-level background check and obtain a Public Trust
Preferred
Senior consultant-level skills in SAP in multiple SAP modules/solution areas
Experience delivering to DHS or other Federal Customers
Testing and/or SAP certifications
Programming Skills (preferably SAP ABAP and SQL Script)
Technical Skills in Database Technology (preferably SAP HANA DB)
SAP S/4HANA Logistics Implementation Experience
SAP S/4HANA PS and PPM Implementation Experience
Experience in SAP S/4HANA Conversion Projects
