Responsibilities

Provide detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for a variety of construction project types
Review and interpret construction drawings to understand the overall project scope
Support development of comprehensive cost estimates/models communicating the client’s project and strategic goals
Facilitate document control, file management, and project collaboration
Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures
Actively research, solicit and develop sources/vendors to compile and maintain the accuracy of cost information
Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals

Required

A minimum of 10 years experience as a electrical cost estimating professional (ideally in a consulting environment), including conceptual estimating, takeoffs, change order review/reconciliation, and value engineering; prior Electrical trade experience required
Prior healthcare estimating experience
Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications)
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Proficient user of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar quantity takeoff software preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
A bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or architecture is preferred
