Responsibilities

Analyze, resolve and track Navy ERP system and end-user issues as they relate to Navy ERP GE

Assess recurring business processes and system errors to identify root causes

Gather and analyze Navy ERP data to quantify system issues and/or answer data requests as it relates to GE

Provide feedback on new or updated Navy ERP capabilities

Participate in sessions to provide business process functional and technical expertise to develop requirements for new or updated business processes as they relate to Navy ERP GE

Develop recommendations and alternatives to potential system solutions to meet the stated objectives and limit end-user impacts

Perform analysis of changes and solutions being made to Navy ERP to develop testing strategies and test plans for Navy ERP GE processes

Execute Navy ERP GE testing to ensure changes and solutions perform as documented and do not adversely impact NAVAIR’s business processes

Collaborate with NBO personnel, NAVAIR Navy ERP end-users, business process owners, and external stakeholders to ensure effective adoption of software solutions related to Navy GE

Develop and maintain deliverables such as User Desk Guides, SOPs, communiques, and targeted emails

BS or BA degree is desired, not required

6 years of Navy ERP Experience

2 to 4 years of demonstrated experience providing business and financial support in a Navy ERP environment involving Navy GE

This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred

Proficiency in Navy ERP processing in two or more of the following areas: Creating and maintaining Navy GE with Navy ERP

Experience/knowledge of month-end processes related to Navy GE

Analyzing and running program/project financial reports with Navy ERP

Experience in Navy GE Policy and Process

Experience in Navy ERP Asset Management (AM) module

Possesses both analytical and interpersonal skills

Good problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills/techniques

English language skills to communicate and negotiate with vendors

Strong communicators must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally

Ability to train, lead projects, and direct employees

Customer service oriented, detail-focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability
