Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and win new business to expand the branch’s portfolio
Leverage your industry insights and relationships to unlock high-value opportunities
Cultivate long-term partnerships with key customers and industry stakeholders
Build and lead high-performing operations and sales teams
Establish a winning culture focused on accountability, service, and results
Coach and mentor team members, preparing the next wave of leaders under your guidance
Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic planning and execution
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize branch performance
Manage budgets and ensure operations are both cost-effective and service-centric
Leverage your carrier relationships to secure reliable capacity and competitive rates
Ensure compliance and best practices in all aspects of carrier engagement
Qualification
Required
5+ years in freight brokerage or logistics sales, with a proven record of growing accounts and revenue
Strong existing network of clients and/or carriers
Experience building and managing teams—whether formal leadership or informal mentorship
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to lead, grow, and eventually run your own branch
Comfortable with responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to lead from the front
Preferred
A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required for candidates with strong industry experience
