Responsibilities
Apply understanding of Seaman BuildCraft materials and engineering capabilities to design and deliver acoustic mitigation materials and solutions solving customer problems
Design development and testing processes to determine performance that correlate with in field performance
Provide technical support to solve technical challenges from customers
Develop expertise in customer applications and provide deep insights into customer experiences, market segments and trends
Identify and obtain technical performance data to support sales and marketing in creation of product literature, brochureware and competitive messaging
Advance projects through agreed project management processes and communicate with stakeholders to ensure approvals and handoffs are executed in a timely manner
Assist customers with acoustic mitigation programs, technical support, and scale-up
Prepare technical presentations and supporting literature development to document work and train the broader organization
Protect intellectual property through patent applications and communicate relevant data through technical and marketing presentations
Represent the company at industry events
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
College degree or higher in a scientific discipline in the field of acoustics or acoustic engineering
Certification or membership of a recognized institution in the field of acoustics
Three or more years working in a commercial environment
